Sex drugs and rock'n roll , sorry nothing like this.

C.A. it's my name, and I work for you in Paris, France. I am part of no Vtc syndicate, just me, a 37 year old romanian psychologist with a master în criminal law.
I have 3 weeks since I started to work for Uber. I work only at night, since I have a soft skin disease, that does not allow me to stay exposed to sunlight. As an educated men, with some hard insights about human behaviour I am disgusted about how easily my hard work is being easily transformed into dust, mockery and disrespect. All this with enthusiastic (maybe not, hope not) input of your beloved transportation (yet) ) start-up. Transport of persons at night assume a specific attitude : gentle driving skills, calmness, understanding attitude, positive mime, adequate clothing – professionalism – how I understand it , at least. And God knows I am doing all these: I invested 2000 euro in : costumes, shoes, shirts, watches, perfumes ; ( and about 55.000 euro for the next 4 years în a brand new Mercedes – a car jewel ). I am polite, I speak well english with tourists, I open the doors to the ones that allow me; passengers have an outstanding car at their service, they are all în safety .
With all these said, why am I în constant danger to lose my account, (here comes the ugly part) due to some part of Uber customers with : bias, individual complexes, immaturity, free superiority, drunkards – yeah at night happen a lot. I will tell you more, I give them all 5 stars no matter what, (for the moment). Why ? They pay !
So, what happen în my car, remains în my car. Good. What happen în their heads, instead, via application , has the potențial to hit me directly în my pocket. Why ?
Why the passengers who do not wish to deliver any feed-back, are not considered as satisfied one's ? Why the one's unsatisfied are easily assumed right, with no real explanations demanded ? (I am no expert here. Hit me if you have to.)
This is the reason why I choose even from the start, to work more with french apps, not for the money, not for nationality reasons (i'm not french, I do not care who gives me money), just for sistem's lability and unserious basis.
The problem is that (my impression) Uber sends this message at subliminal level : ''You can travel with us safely, you can be as demanding as you want, and at the end of your journey, we offer you the opportunity to ridicule the driver's effort, as long as you are loyal to our company.'' Silly right ? Or not ?
Allow me to tell you more. Drunk passengers , or just demanding, comes of course , from other apps. But they behave much much better. They do not wants to use the quotation as a sword on driver's neck, or they must argue if they are unsatisfied. That's all.
Why am I telling all these well known issues ? First I assure I do not have the need for any sick verbal exhibitionism, or a suave need to be în the spotlight. Staying în France, doing a job, that allow me to have free time during the day, it is not an option. I spent nearly two years în hospitals treating my daughter for brain cancer. (I still must do a lot în that direction). I can not leave France, as much aș I would like to. All my efforts are genuine and constructive : France it is not USA. I am amazed that an army of consultants can not see that. Less is more Travis - Uber, as long as you play honest, with all). Making a ride 6 euro, (others do it with 5 ), giving your customers a sword to cut necks and money, (the five stars quotation), 25 percent for Uber, sending gibberish multinational strategic messages, (relation passenger-driver is it fair…!? WTF- we already know it is not), 10 hours a day for a proper remuneration, all these matters în France. A lot.
Bigger picture : accumulating losses for billions of dollars for the monopoly of patents, related to the transport of autonomous vehicles, (you will never have that, concurrence tricks), strategy of hoping thinking : 2020 is a proper year to autonomous cars (too soon - deadly accidents, billions lost în trials, death assimilated company). Will arrive all that, of course. But Uber may not survive too long, if the national apps will specialize themselves against you, with large support of the drivers.
If you're response will be to supress my driver account, there will be no big surprise, I have seen worse în my life. În search of a decent and human response and actions are thousands of professionals like me . Allow us not to develop anymore this disorder love - hate relation with Uber , and unfortunately with your clients. Thank you !

À peu de chose près, même sentiment/ressenti que toi. 1 client faux c.. vient te gâcher ton réveil alors qu'il y en a eu 20 satisfaits mais que 3 qui ont mis 5 étoiles... sans compter ceux qui mettent 4 "parce que la perfection n'existe pas" (si si, on me l'a déjà fait)... et le pire, c'est qu'on ne sait pas qui c'est et qu'on se sent très bête de lui avoir mis 5 étoiles...
En tout cas, bonne chance à toi et bon courage à ta famille

À peu de chose près, même sentiment/ressenti que toi. 1 client faux c.. vient te gâcher ton réveil alors qu'il y en a eu 20 satisfaits mais que 3 qui ont mis 5 étoiles... sans compter ceux qui mettent 4 "parce que la perfection n'existe pas" (si si, on me l'a déjà fait)... et le pire, c'est qu'on ne sait pas qui c'est et qu'on se sent très bête de lui avoir mis 5 étoiles...
En tout cas, bonne chance à toi et bon courage à ta famille

Comme tu le dis, c'est double peine les notes tu n'as aucuns reculs et aucuns moyens de comprendre lors de quelle prestation les choses se sont mal déroulées ! Ne serait-ce que pour se remettre en question et avancer...

J'avais eu la surprise de découvrir des 1 étoiles ou 2 étoiles alors que je leur offrait un service de fou !!

Comme tu le dis, c'est double peine les notes tu n'as aucuns reculs et aucuns moyens de comprendre lors de quelle prestation les choses se sont mal déroulées ! Ne serait-ce que pour se remettre en question et avancer...
Le jour où on se détache des ce système de note pourri c'est la que l'on se rend compte à quel point ce job est sympa. Les notes ne veulent rien dire le mec peut te foutre un 1 juste pk il etait mal luné et uber ne jure que par cela.
